On April 14 at 3 p.m., a tribute to the late poet Anne Porter will involve readings of her poems, a screening of a video interview with her from last year, and a showing of the 1953 film “A Day in the Life of a Cleaning Lady,” in which she appears with her husband, Fairfield Porter, and Larry Rivers. Carole O’Malley Gaunt will be the guest at a brown bag lunch event on Wednesday at noon. She will discuss “Hungry Hill,” her 2007 memoir of growing up as the only girl in a large Irish Catholic family in Springfield, Mass. The library will serve juice and cookies.
