    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Incorporated Village of East Hampton will hold a public meeting at the Emergency Services Building, One Cedar Street, East Hampton, New York, on Friday, October 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. on the following application and to conduct such other business as may come before the Board:
    Application of Nicholas Grimshaw, SCTM #301-2-2-20, for a Special Permit in accordance with Section 278-7.D. and Area Variances to permit the conversion of an existing three-car garage with workshop into an artist studio with half bath. The existing structure is 600 square feet in gross floor area with a storage loft and is lawfully preexisting and nonconforming with respect to side and rear yard setbacks. Area Variances from Section 278-3.A.(3) are required to permit conversion of the existing garage 0.3 feet from the side yard and 1.8 feet from the rear yard where the required setbacks are 14.37 feet and 22 feet respectively. Area Variances are also required to permit an artist studio of 600 square feet where Section 278-3.D.(1) requires that, except for garages, accessory buildings be limited to one room and 250 square feet. An Area Variance may be required from Section 278-3.D.(3) which requires that accessory buildings, except for garages, not exceed 14 feet in height. The existing garage and a shed total 793 square feet in gross floor area where the maximum gross floor area of Section 278-3.A. limits the gross floor area of all accessory buildings to 2 percent of the lot area plus 200 square feet or 407 square feet. The subject property is located at 10 Pleasant Lane in Residence District R-40 and is 10,354 square feet in area. This is a Type II Action in accordance with SEQR.

    (1) The Fire Department shall answer and attend all calls in said Fire protection District;
    (2) The Sag Harbor ambulance shall furnish emergency ambulance service within the Fire Protection District;
    (3) For such services the Village of Sag Harbor, Sag Harbor Village Fire Department and Sag Harbor Ambulance shall receive and the Town of East Hampton shall pay the total sum of $28,444.97 for the 12 month period of the agreement; and

RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

    At a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of September 2011, the Town Board adopted a resolution, subject to permissive referendum, authorizing the Supervisor to execute an easement granting the owner of premises at 42 Northway, Amagansett (SCTM #0300-103.00-03.00-038.000) an easement to allow for the maintenance and repair of a well upon premises owned by the Town of East Hampton and described as a portion of the Northway right-of-way immediately adjoining the aforementioned property. The grant of such easement is a Type II action under Chapter 128 (Environmental Quality Review) of the Town Code and the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). No compensation is proposed to be charged for the easement hereinbefore described.

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of East Hampton, County of Suffolk, State of New York, at a meeting held on October 6, 2011 duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows:
    A resolution, subject to permissive referendum and approval of the New York State Legislature, authorizing the Town Supervisor to enter into a Contact of Sale and to execute all necessary documents to transfer the Town of East Hampton’s fifty percent (50%) interest in premises known as the Poxabogue Golf Course, a property consisting of approximately 38.9 acres (SCTM #0900-73-2-15 & 23), to the Town of Southampton, for the sum of $2,200,000.00 together with one-half of the funds in the reserve fund established by the Towns for operation of the golf course.
