A celebration of Joy Lupoletti’s life will be held at Peconic Landing at 1500 Brecknock Road in Greenport on Saturday afternoon at 2. Ms. Lupoletti, a former East Hampton resident, died on July 14 at the age of 82.
Holly Tyson, 68, a longtime summer resident of East Hampton, where she lived at the Lily Pond Lane house of her grandmother, Mrs. Newell J. Ward, died on Aug. 5 at home in Landrum, S.C., from complications of cancer. She was 68.
Mary DiSabato D’Andrea, a seasonal member of the Wainscott Sewing Society who, with her husband, ran the D’Andrea Motel in Wainscott for nearly 20 years, died on Aug. 3 at the Litchfield Woods Convalescent Home in Torrington, Conn.
Richard Balcuns, known to his friends and family as Zeke, died in his sleep on July 29 at home in Hither Hills. A longtime resident of Montauk, he had suffered from heart disease for several years, but his death was unexpected, his family said.
