Elaine Dunn of Three Mile Harbor Road, East Hampton, died of complications of heart disease at the Southampton Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing on Sunday. She was 61.
Ernest Mott, a former Army medic, longtime employee of the A&P Tea Company, and member of the East Hampton Fire Department for 53 years, died on Dec. 13 in Sebastian, Fla. He was 91.
Gerhard Mercker died on Dec. 11 after an illness of a year at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He was 70 years old.
Gordon F. Peavy, who moved to East Hampton with his lifelong partner, the artist Albert Sharp, died on Dec. 6 at Southampton Hospital at the age of 78.
Dr. William F.X. Flynn of Amagansett, 77, a head and neck surgeon who moved to Amagansett full time upon his retirement in 1997, died at home after a brief illness on Dec. 9.
