The Cross Eyed Clam

The folks at the Cross Eyed Clam have a sense of humor and want you to take home a T-shirt imprinted with its cross-eyed logo. The place took off last summer and stays open till 4 a.m., which tells you something about the lively crowd that gathers under the bar's "Dig It" sign. Several flat screen TVs and high-top tables set the mood, and almost everything is grilled or fried and served in baskets. A veggie wrap, chicken sandwiches,  a burger, and ribs are on the menu  if you don't go for seafood. The Cross Eyed Combo Box, a mix of lobster tails, clams, scallops, and shrimp, is a good buy, serving four.
