Sean MacPherson, a well-known impresario of restaurants, hotels, and night spots, turned the Crow's Nest Inn into a high-style destination that attracts a late-night crowd. To the east of downtown Montauk at the south end of Lake Montauk there'a a view from the patio and pleasant seating inside. Prices have crept up since it opened, with local fluke at $42 and $32 for a dozen oysters. Dishes for the health conscious might include kale or artichoke salads, a vegetable tagine, and barley risotto. The chicken kebabs with Sardinaia cous cous, harissa, and mint yogurt is a winner.
