The Living Room, like the hotel it is housed in, is part of an upscale Scandinavian chain. The look is quirky and very colorful. The chef is Swedish, and the cuisine is modern American with a Scandinavian touch, strong on seafood and with some surprising combinations and seasonal specials. Dinner choices include black bass, seared duck breast, Painted Hills grass fed ribeye and Swedish meatballs. The wine list is international, and there's an international crowd as well as a local one.
