Sam Joyce opened Sammy’s last spring and it has become a favorite for locals. The menu includes appetizers such as Montauk oysters, stuffed mushroom caps, and “Irish nachos,” which feature homemade potato chips with traditional nacho toppings, and lobster salad tacos. Along with soups and salads, there are sandwiches, such as a shrimp po’ boy and a Wimpie burger, and dishes that can be ordered as tapas, such as pot stickers, Montauk fluke tempura, stuffed portobellos, and assorted lettuce wraps. There are also daily specials available. There is a room for private parties.
