Sam's has been a favorite since 1947 and locals now share the place with celebrities. (Steven Spielberg has been spotted.) Individual thin-crust pizzas, veal Milanese, and frutti di mare pasta among other dishes make for solid, good eating. The old-fashioned bar is a good place to wait for a table while sipping a pint.
