The oldest restaurant in Montauk, Trail's End was once on the bay in the old fishing village, which was largely destroyed in the Hurricane of 1938. The restaurant withstood the storm, but then was moved. Across from the Montauk movie house, it has friendly service, reasonable prices, and familiar dishes like lobster bisque, mussels, clams on the half shell, lamb or pork chops, Southern fried chicken, and roast turkey. There are homemade desserts and children have their own menu.
