Health Fair Friday in East Hampton

Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Buell Lane will host free medical screenings at an East Hampton Healthcare Foundation fair tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cholesterol and blood pressure exams will be available on a walk-in basis. Appointments for free colorectal, mammogram, and Pap tests can be made during the event as well. Hudson River Healthcare, the East Hampton Town Human Services Department, the Y.M.C.A., and the Retreat will be on hand to offer information about their services, and there will be help for those with Medicare.

Applications and information will also be available for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and those attending will also have the opportunity to speak with a nutrition educator. 

The Affordable Care Act 2018 enrollment period ends on Dec. 15, the foundation has reminded residents. Help with applications is offered at its 200 Pantigo Place office from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays and every other Wednesday for United HealthCare and on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Affinity Health Plan.
