Santa Parade on Saturday in East Hampton

Santa made his first village appearance of the season at East Hampton Gardens last weekend alongside a bright-red classic Ford pickup truck Durell Godfrey

Santa will roll up Main Street and Newtown Lane on Saturday in the annual Chamber of Commerce parade. Community groups, schools, scout troops, fire departments, and local businesses will take part with floats and marching units. The start time is 10 a.m. from approximately the Presbyterian Church, then to the traffic light at Newtown Lane, and on toward Herrick Park.

Santa shoots down the chimney for photos at Rowdy Hall at about 11 a.m.

Warm apple cider and Dreesen’s Donuts will be served. The restaurant will have materials on hand, courtesy of the Golden Eagle, for children and adults to make cards for wounded veterans at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Rowdy Hall will also be collecting canned and shelf-stable items for local food pantries that day.
