Music in Montauk

At the Montauk Library.

The Sundance Trio, one of the leading oboe, bassoon, and piano ensembles in North America, will give a free concert Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Montauk Library. The trio, based in Utah, consists of Geralyn Giovanetti on oboe, Christian Smith, bassoon, and Jed Moss, piano.

The evening will include the jazz-and-world-music-infused “Trio” by Bill Douglas; “Andante et Scherzo” by Robert Planel, a French composer; the “Cancion Callada” by José Rodriguez Alvira; “Up and Away (Story of a Balloon),” a new composition by Alyssa Morris, and the neo-romantic “Trio” by Richard Faith.
