The Much Ado About Madoo Garden Market will kick off Friday, June 13, at the Madoo Conservancy in Sagaponack with a cocktail party and market preview sale from 6 to 9 p.m.
The evening will include a live auction at which guests can bid on three custom garden designs by local landscape designers, a silent auction of garden and home accessories, and an exhibition of artwork by Robert Dash, the founder of Madoo, selected by Robert Storr, dean of the Yale School of Art. Tickets are $150, $125 for members. The evening’s proceeds will help maintain and rejuvenate the conservancy.
The garden market, which will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 14 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 15, will feature more than 25 dealers in rare plants, stylish home and garden accessories, and garden antiques. Events are scheduled throughout the day, including three lectures and a visit, between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., of the North Fork Table and Inn lunch truck.
More information, including ticket prices for individual lectures, is available at madoo.org.
