On Bridgehampton Traffic Safety

Town officials will meet with the Bridgehampton business community next Thursday to discuss pedestrian and traffic safety concerns. The meeting will take place at the Bridgehampton Nutrition/Community Center at 585 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The town is in the process of developing a plan to improve pedestrian and traffic safety in the downtown Bridgehampton area. Representatives from the town, including Christine Fetten, the town engineer, and Tom Neely, the director of transportation and public safety, will be on hand to discuss how improvements could be made. They met with the Bridgehampton Citizens Advisory Committee last month.

A town board work session, which will be held at the Bridgehampton Community House on June 8 at 10 a.m., will focus on the Bridgehampton safety plan. The public is invited to attend and public comment will be taken.
