    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Incorporated Village of East Hampton will hold a public meeting at the Emergency Services Building, One Cedar Street, East Hampton, New York, on Friday, August 12, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. on the following applications and to conduct such other business as may come before the Board:
    Application of Andrew and Heather Baris, SCTM #301-1-3-45, for setback, coverage, and maximum gross floor area variances to allow additions to the existing residence, installation of a swimming pool, and expansion of the existing garage to accommodate a pool house. Additions to the existing residence are proposed 17.5 feet from the front property line where the required front yard setback of Section 278-3.A.(2)(a) is 25 feet and result in a total gross floor area of 2,068 square feet where the maximum gross floor area permitted in accordance with Section 278-3.A.(9) is 1,699 square feet. The gross floor area of the residence is 1,773 square feet and is lawfully preexisting and nonconforming. The proposed expansion will add 189 square feet to the first floor and 106 square feet to the second floor for a combined increase of 295 square feet. The proposed garage pool house will have a side yard setback of .3 feet and a rear yard setback of 4.7 feet where the required side and rear yard setbacks of Section 278-3.A.(3)(a) and (b) are 14 feet and 19.98 feet respectively. Together with the gross floor area of an existing shed, the total gross floor area of accessory buildings will be increased to 535 square feet where the maximum gross floor area as set forth in Section 278-3.D.(4) is limited to 339 square feet.
