East Hampton Goes All Out for Halloween

Masses of costumed revelers made their way to East Hampton Village on Halloween, where the fun lasted well beyond sunset. Hilary Osborn Malecki

Music filled the air, fog and bubble machines set the scene, and the sounds of ghostly howls echoed up and down the streets as costumed trick-or-treaters descended on East Hampton Village for Monday's Halloween festivities. On a few choice blocks in the village, homeowners go all out for the holiday, setting up spectacular displays for all who dare to pass -- and there are hundreds upon hundreds who do over the course of the afternoon and evening. Kudos to these brave and generous souls!
