The East Hampton Presbyterian Church will be open for personal prayer and meditation on Friday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., in remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

At the Hook Mill Memorial Green, Sept. 11, 2001, will be remembered in a ceremony Friday at 6 p.m., organized by the East Hampton Town Chiefs Association. The Rev. Steven Howarth will offer a prayer, and there will be speeches from the Sag Harbor Fire Department's Bruce Schiavoni, Village Mayor Paul F. Rickenbach Jr., and East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell. There will be a wreath-laying in honor of the lost police, firefighters, and emergency workers.

All have been invited to attend and pay their respects to those who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
