Bridgehampton Church Nominated to Registries of Historic Places

Durell Godfrey

The Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church, which was built in 1842, has been nominated for addition to the State and National Registers of Historic Places. The New York State Historic Preservation Office made the recommendation for the Federal and Greek Revival-style church.

Elsewhere in the hamlet, the Beebe Windmill on Ocean Road and the Bridgehampton Museum’s William Corwith House and Nathaniel Rogers House are already on the national list.

There will be a Christmas Eve pageant and service by candlelight at the Presbyterian Church at 5 p.m.
