Cultural Exchange (and Empanadas) at Guild Hall

Guild Hall will host its second annual ArtXchange celebration of cultural diversity on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

The family event, which is free, will include creative activities focused on the exchange of tradition, ideas, and stories about inclusion and how to foster respect and stimulate interactions amongst community members.

A poetry reading and presentation will kick off the event at 1 p.m. in the theater. Dance performances by the East Hampton High School Dance Team and the Shinnecock Youth Council will follow at 2 p.m.

After a free snack break with treats from the Island Empanada food truck at 2:30 p.m., activities will continue with a children's art workshop led by Aurelio Torres, a local artist, a cookie decorating workshop with the team from Citarella, and a bilingual museum tour and scavenger hunt.
