Tomorrow the Town of East Hampton will host a forum updating East End residents on two nitrogen-removing systems that were recently approved by Suffolk County for installation at private residences. Suffolk Legislator Bridget Fleming said that Peter Scully, who oversees the county’s wastewater management strategy, and other county officials will present the current state of affairs in regards to these advanced systems, pilot programs, and what can be expected in the future.
Joseph Densieski of Wastewater Works Inc. of Riverhead will talk about the Hydro-Action AN series, and Tom Montalbine from the Roman Stone Construction Company of Bay Shore will discuss Norweco’s Singulair TNT system. An overview of the systems, costs, and training opportunities for professionals will be available, and the public can ask questions.
The forum will be held in the main meeting room at Town Hall from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
