The annual Stony Hill Stables Foundation benefit is on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. on the stables’ grounds on Town Lane in Amagansett. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization that promotes equine sports through riding education and competitive opportunities for children and young adults. Tickets are $125, or $200 for a couple, and are available in advance at stonyhillstables.com/shsfoundation and at the gate on Saturday. Children under 12 will be admitted free.

The fund-raiser will include a dressage exhibition by Wick Hotchkiss, the stables’ owner and the 2016 Long Island Dressage Association’s rider of the year, and a choreographed pony drill team performance. The family-friendly event will also offer a “horseless horse show” for children 12 and under.

Five scholarships are awarded annually, and residents of Montauk, Amagansett, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Southampton, and Westhampton have been encouraged to apply. Applications for the 2017 season are being accepted and can be downloaded from the website.
