Navy Beach in Montauk will celebrate the hamlet’s long naval history and the Navy SEAL Foundation on Saturday with its second annual “Honoring Our Warriors, Supporting Their Families” cocktail party fund-raiser. The restaurant is continuing its partnership with the SEAL foundation in aid of the Naval Special Warfare community and its families.

The benefit will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at Navy Beach, 16 Navy Road in Montauk. For a $40 donation, those attending can enjoy live music by Nancy Atlas while in the company of retired Navy SEALs, Navy SEAL Foundation representatives, and others from the Naval Special Warfare community the Coast Guard. Turquoise Life is providing wines; Brooklyn Brewery is sending beer and light bites.

Navy Beach, which will be open for dinner after the event, plans to continue its support of the SEALs all summer with  a “dine and donate” program. Until Labor Day, a gift of $1 for the SEAL foundation will be added to all dinner checks; diners have the option to increase the sum.

Last year the restaurant’s kick-off party and fund-raising season raised $17,000 for the foundation. This year, Navy Beach hopes to surpass that amount, and so will match the first $2,500 raised. Online donations can be made at navybeach.com.
