The East Hampton Library on Saturday enjoyed its most successful Authors Night yet. Approximately 2,500 attended the event, which involved a reception and book signing with 100 writers, followed by author-hosted dinners, all of which raised $325,000 for the library. Authors on hand included Nelson DeMille, Judith Miller, Fern Mallis, Wednesday Martin, Ed Burns, Jonathan Alder, and Katie Lee, among many others. In all, 3,000 books were sold.
