Qigong Grandmaster Coming to Amagansett

Looking ahead, Mandala Yoga Center for the Healing Arts and Sports Therapy and Sandra Geehring Foster of SGF Acupuncture in Amagansettt will host Ou Wen Wei, a qigong grandmaster, on Oct. 28 and 29.

Master Ou is the founder of Pangu Shengong, which he says is a simple and powerful self-healing method that improves health and well-being by strengthening life force and immunity, bringing calmness, positive thinking, and happiness.

A general group healing will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 28 at the yoga center. The cost is $50. Three classes will follow: on the moving form from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for $120; healing technique from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. for $150, and nonmoving form from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. for $120.

A group healing with Master Ou happens on Oct. 29 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Sports Therapy at 518 Montauk Highway. The cost is $70. A class on intuition development runs from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for $60. An advanced condensed form class will happen from 2 to 3:30 p.m. for $150, and a path of life class is set for 4 to 5:30 p.m. for $60. More information is at pangu.org.
