We Got This: Fund-Raiser for Walter Family in Montauk Wednesday

We Got This, a Walter family fund-raiser, will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Inlet Seafood restaurant in Montauk. Tickets are $40 each and include buffet stations and a cash bar.

In January, Monica Walter, 40, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, HER2-Positive. Her husband is Senior Chief Petty Officer Jason Walter, who retired from the Montauk Coast Guard Station in June after being stationed there from 2010 to 2015. Mr. Walter is currently the director of maintenance at the Montauk Lighthouse. The couple live in Springs with their two children, Kate, 14, and Luke, 12.

Tickets are available at the Montauk Chamber of Commerce and Springs Pizza, 841 Springs-Fireplace Road, East Hampton, and will be available at the door. Donations can also be made through a GoFundMe.com account
