Edvin K. Stromstern

    Edvin Karl Stromstern of East Hampton and New York City, a prominent architect, died following a heart attack at Southampton Hospital on Aug. 27. He was 80.
    A former chairman of the planning and governance committee of the Peconic Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Mr. Stromstern had practices both here and in the city. He is survived by his partner of 22 years, Gabriele Roos. 
    A memorial service for Mr. Stromstern will take place at their house, 61 Copeces Lane, on Oct. 1 from 2 to 5 p.m. Ms. Roos would appreciate R.S.V.P.s.
