Lillian Lucille Bombard of Bridgeport, Conn., who grew up and attended school in East Hampton, died on Feb. 26 at the age of 94 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care in Stratford, Conn.
Ms. Bombard was born in East Hampton on Nov. 8, 1917, to the late Edward and Lillian Lester Brooks. She graduated from East Hampton High School.
A retired lab technician with American Chain and Cable, she lived in Bridgeport for many years. A longtime Mets fan, Ms. Bombard also enjoyed cooking and knitting for her family. She was a member of Golden Hill United Methodist Church, and attended services every Sunday.
Her husband, Alexander Bombard, died before her. She is survived by her children, Melanie Smith of Peachtree City, Ga., and Edward Bombard of Stratford, Conn., and a step-daughter, Theresa Templeton of Milford, Conn. She also had seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on March 2 at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport with the Rev. James Stinson officiating.
