Lola A. Green, who was a daughter of the late Stewart and Lola Arlene Bennett of East Hampton and grew up in East Hampton, died on Feb. 5 at the Indian River Nursing Home in Granville, N.Y., after an illness. She was 70.
Ms. Green was born on Sept. 13, 1941, in Southampton. Her younger years were spent in East Hampton, where she attended school.
She and Young Kittner Green married in 1980. The couple lived in East Hampton for a time, then moved to Glens Falls, N.Y.
A homemaker, Ms. Green enjoyed camping with her family in the summer, and spending time with her children and friends. Her interests ran to cooking, country music, and watching westerns.
She is survived by a daughter, Charmaine Manzolillo of Fort Pierce, Fla., two sons, Richard Goodale of Saratoga, N.Y., and Ed Green of South Glens Falls, N.Y., as well as five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her brother, Richard King, lives in East Hampton.
A funeral for her was held in Queensbury, N.Y., on Feb. 10. Ms. Green was cremated, and her ashes will be buried at Southside Cemetery in South Glens Falls.
