Frank Danielo, a part-time resident of Lazy Point, Amagansett, who had summered in Amagansett from the time he was a child and was the treasurer of the Napeague Mobile Home Park, died on Sept. 10 at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. He was 67 and had been diagnosed a year ago with Merkel cell carcinoma.

He was born in Flushing on Feb. 16, 1950, the son of Frank Danielo Sr. and the former Celia Stringle. He served in the Army Reserve from 1969 through 1973.

Mr. Danielo attended John Bowne High School in Flushing and received a degree as a radiologic technician from St. Anthony’s in Queens. He worked in radiology management for private offices and hospitals.

In Amagansett, he was considered a boating aficionado and also loved fishing and cars, his family said

He and his wife, the former Eva Rizzo, who survives, were married on Oct. 21, 1973. Their  year-round residences were in Merrick and then Massapequa Park. Their children, Michael Danielo, Jaclyn Cammarata, and Marisa Fromm, all of Massapequa Park, also survive. Mr. Danielo also is survived by two sisters, Marylou Cathor of Montauk and Lucille Gavitt of Glen Head, and by five grandchildren.

A wake was held at the Massapequa Funeral Home, with a Mass on Sept. 15 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Massapequa. Burial followed at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.
