An East Hampton woman, 23-year-old Kelly Anne Doroski, was killed in a one-car crash at about 6:30 p.m. last Thursday. The accident happened on Route 114, in the Goodfriend Drive area.
According to her mother, Patricia Doroski of Sag Harbor, the young woman’s southbound 2009 Mazda struck a small strip of curbing near Plank Road, causing her to lose control of the car, which ran off the road into a stand of trees.
Emergency medical services personnel tried to revive Ms. Doroski from the moment they arrived until they reached Southampton Hospital, where she was declared dead. She had just left her mother’s house and was headed back to East Hampton, where she lived with her fiancé, Max Corrigan, and their 22 month-old son, Joshua Aiden Corrigan.
Her daughter and Mr. Corrigan fit together “like two pieces in a puzzle,” Mrs. Doroski said.
Ms. Doroski’s obituary appears elsewhere in this section. A funeral service was to take place at 11 a.m. today at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton.
