Arrest In Harbor

Ice, snow, and bitter cold was a sobering cocktail for drivers last week. Just one drunken-driving arrest on local roads was reported from Jan. 19 until Tuesday afternoon.

According to Sag Harbor Village police, a local resident, Adam R. Christopherson, 38, driving a 2007 Ford van, made an illegal U-turn on Main Street early Saturday morning, leading to a traffic stop and an eventual charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released without bail, but with a date on the Sag Harbor criminal court calendar.
