Jeff Bragman is seeking a seat on the East Hampton Town Board, running on the Democratic, Working Families, and Independence ballot lines. He moved to East Hampton more than 30 years ago after graduating from Yale University and working as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan. He has worked here as an assistant town attorney representing the zoning, planning, and architectural review boards, and has a private law practice and a house in Northwest Woods.

Mr. Bragman points to his work protecting the town’s natural and historical environments, and as a neighborhood advocate representing clients concerned about overdevelopment. East Hampton must “preserve what is left” in the face of challenges, he has said, by increasing affordable housing, protecting water quality, and creating new economic opportunities. Public officials must “have the courage to make hard choices,” according to his campaign materials, in order to “continue to protect the town we love.”
