MagicMasters Coming
    The Montauk Playhouse Community Center will benefit from a basketball game to be contested tomorrow night at East Hampton High School by the Harlem MagicMasters and a faculty team whose roster comprises Robyn Mott, Will Collins, Ray Wojtusiak, Nick Finazzo, John Lupo, Josh Brussell, Cara Nelson, Liz Forsberg, Mike Vitulli, Nicole Calloway, Krista Brooks, John Carroll, and Mike Sarlo.

    Tickets will be $12 for students and $15 for adults at the door. Montauk Youth and East Hampton’s varsity boys lacrosse team will be selling treats. Gametime is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30.

State Champs
    Trevor Mott and Georgie Bogetti, members of the Y.M.C.A. East Hampton RECenter’s Hurricanes youth swim team, each became New York State Y.M.C.A. champions at Ithaca this past weekend in the 200 and 500 freestyle races.

Player of the Week
    Mark Simmons, a former Bonac star who tends goal for Wesleyan’s men’s lacrosse team, was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference’s player of the week for March 10.

Madison Foundation
    The Kendall Madison Foundation will benefit from a karaoke night at the Stephen Talkhouse nightspot in Amagansett on Friday, March 28. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The competition for cash prizes is to begin at 8 p.m. Donations for those who can’t make it may be sent to the Kendall Madison Foundation, 67A Main Street, Suite 2, East Hampton 11937.
