Ice Hockey League

The Buckskill Winter Club, whose skating rink is expected to open this weekend, plans to launch an adult ice hockey league this season.

“We’ve got 30 people so far,” Cory Lillie said during a conversation Sunday. “We’d like to have 40 to 50. . . . We’ll play Monday and Wednesday evenings, 12 games total, beginning with pre-season games on Dec. 7.”

The fee, he said, is “$350 per player, $175 for goalies. People who want to play can call me at 324-2243 or sign up online at buckskillwinterclub. com.”

Bock’s His Caddie

Kevin Kisner, a 31-year-old native of Aiken, S.C., who was an all-American at the University of Georgia, and whose caddie is Duane Bock, a former East Hampton High School golf star, won the RSM Classic on St. Simon’s Island, Ga., Sunday, with a 6-under-par 64, winning by six shots.

It was the last tournament of the P.G.A.’s season and the first P.G.A. win for Kisner, who has been a runner-up four times this year.
