The Eastville Community Historical Society will display reproductions of its holdings of tintypes and cabinet cards in an exhibition opening July 11. The show will include, top row from left, a daughter of Esther and Henry Green, Nathan J. Cuffee (an author whose father was a Montaukett and mother was a Naragansett), an unidentified European immigrant with hand-painted rosy cheeks, and Esther Green. In the bottom row are an unidentified couple, Capt. Aaron Cuffee, and Augustus Johnson. Johnson was born in Ivy Cottage, where a number of tintypes were found nailed to the floor.
