William Blitz, a 22-year summer resident of Montauk, died on Sept. 19 at Southampton Hospital. He was 82.

Silvia Mannix of East Hampton, died on Sept. 3 at the Westhampton Care Center. She was 83.

Frank Sorensen, who served overseas during World War II and lived most of his life in Montauk, died on Sept. 14 in Salisbury, Md. He was 91.
Clifford Parker Robertson III, known professionally as Cliff Robertson died on Saturday, a day after his 88th birthday.

Jeanne Dousman Vielbig died on Aug. 17, just three weeks before her 98th birthday.

Nordelle Robinson Kelly — Madame Kelly to her pupils — who taught French for two decades in the schools here, died at home in East Hampton.

Edvin Karl Stromsten died at Southampton Hospital on Aug. 27 after a massive heart attack. He was 80.

Lenore Klein, 106-year-old resident of the Barnes Landing section of Springs, died of natural causes on Aug. 20

Robert Mero died on Sept. 5 at the Westhampton Care Center. A longtime resident of East Hampton, he was 91.

A memorial for Roland B. Anderson, formerly of Amagansett, who died on April 1, will be held next Thursday.

    A gathering of family and friends of Raymond Jaffie, who died on Aug. 2 at the age of 83, will be held on Monday from noon to 3 p.m. at The Huntting Inn on Main Street in East Hampton.  

A service was held on Monday at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor for Georganne Gilbride.

Sherry McErlean Kiger, whose roots on her mother’s side go back to the founding families of East Hampton, died on Aug. 22 at Southampton Hospital, three days after her 65th birthday.
