Anne Santacroce, a career nurse who served on the front lines in Europe as a member of the Army Nurse Corps during World War II, died at home on Jefferson Street in Sag Harbor last Thursday. She was 92.
Josiah T. Hammer, a lifelong fisherman who lived in Springs for most of his 36 years, died of unknown causes.
Margaret M. Gural, who grew up in East Hampton, died at Stony Brook University Medical Center on March 20 following a heart attack.
Richard H. O’Brien, a lifelong resident of Sag Harbor and a veteran of the Navy, died at Southampton Hospital on Friday after a short illness.
Winifred Peckham Miller, who worked at Mitzi’s Beauty Parlor in Southampton for 40 years and lived in Springs for about as long, died on Aug. 21 of breast cancer

Doris J. Slowey, a native East Hamptoner, died at Southampton Hospital, where she had been a patient for a month, on March 20. She was 90.

John A. Ward, the oldest active volunteer fireman in the state, died at home there on March 15

Lillian Lucille, who grew up and attended school in East Hampton, died on Feb. 26 at the age of 94

Lola A. Green died on Feb. 5 after an illness. She was 70.
