Charlotte Schorr, a retired Montauk librarian, died peacefully at home on Essex Street in Montauk last Thursday after a long illness with cancer. She was 84.

Elinor Tibbets Van Ingen McDade, a yoga teacher and the owner of the Goat Alley Gallery in Sag Harbor, died at Stony Brook University Medical Center on April 11 following a massive brain hemorrhage.
Mr. McKusick, who died in Sag Harbor on April 10 from complications after a fall, was 87.

Lisa Karsten Craine, a real estate agent with Brown Harris Stevens, died at home in East Hampton on Saturday at the age of 51. She had been ill with colon cancer for three years.

Thomas E. Gaines, an East Hampton native, died on Saturday at the age of 85.

Karin R. Bennett, who was known to East Hamptoners as the cake lady of Springs, died on Tuesday.

Lorraine Helene Gerecke, an active member of the Sag Harbor American Legion Auxiliary, died on April 4 at Southampton Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 87 years old.

Marie Foster, a longtime visitor and then resident of Montauk, died on Friday three weeks after suffering a debilitating heart attack. She was 92.
