A Harborfields guard, Alex Bloom, who had come up empty on four previous tries from 3-point range in Friday’s county Class A high school boys basketball final, drove a dagger into East Hampton’s heart when, with a half-minute left to play, he drained a 3 from the right corner that gave the Tornadoes a 45-42 lead, and ultimately the victory.
