   Kent Farrington, 32, of Wellington, Fla., became the fifth rider in the Hampton Classic Horse Show’s 38-year history to win back-to-back Grand Prix championships on Sunday.
   The East Hampton High School boys cross-country team was out in force for the Great Bonac 5K Labor Day morning, and did itself proud, its members taking six out of the top eight places.
   If attitude is any indicator, the East Hampton High School football team ought to be in for a good season, despite the fact that the roster of 26 is relatively small and the fact that there are only seven varsity returnees.
