    John Lippert died at home at the Townhouse East Condominiums at Cross Highway in East Hampton on Tuesday, following a stroke. He was born on Dec. 14, 1925, and is survived by his longtime companion of 43 years, James Hildum....

Phoebe McDonough, a former librarian at the East Hampton Library, died on Saturday at home on Buell Lane in East Hampton. She was 92.

    Dr. William F.X. Flynn died on Friday at home in Amagansett. He was 77. A funeral service was held on Monday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in East Hampton. A full obituary will appear in a future issue.  

Asa Cituk of Southamptonon Nov. 18

Cynthia Straker Pierce, a Sag Harbor resident and an attorney for the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington, D.C., for 20 years, died on Nov. 30. She was 82.

Eoin Sprott, whose special effects can be seen in films as diverse as “The Wiz” and Woody Allen’s “Zelig,” died of cancer at home in Sag Harbor on Saturday. He was 77.

Eugenia Barbara Desmond, who had worked at the New York Ocean Science Lab in Montauk and sold real estate in the hamlet, died on Dec. 3 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Queens. She was 88.

Felicia M. Hogan, 75, of Wireless Road, East Hampton, died Sunday

Margaret A. Edwards, who lived in East Hampton from infancy until 1966, died on Nov. 11 at home in White Post, Va., after an illness. She was 67.
