East Hampton High School’s volleyball coaches, Josh Brussell and Kathy McGeehan, said this past week that they were “excited” when it comes to their teams, though the girls program, which has 16 ninth graders split between its varsity and junior varsity, has longer to go before it will be a top Class B contender again.
Craig Brierley, who coaches East Hampton High’s girls swimming team, said the day after an easy win here over Stony Brook last week that this team, which has on it four eighth graders who’ve already made a splash, is the best in the history of the program, which dates to 2007.
