Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's office has reported widespread power outages in New York State, of which the majority were on Long Island.
The Long Island Power Authority reported as of about 10:45 a.m. Sunday that 437,000 customers were cut off. Of East Hampton Town's approximately 24,000 utility customers, 5,335 were without power.
