Blonde Redhead will bring its no-nonsense alt/art-rock to the Surf Lodge in Montauk for an early evening performance Saturday. Doors open at around 5, after an invite-only party for Beach Magazine's July issue runs out of steam. The New York-based trio play dense, dreamlike songs, with Kazu Makino's vocals floating above the guitars and drums. The Surf Lodge is on Edgemere Street near the Montauk train station. No cover.
On Sunday, Small Black, a synth-pop group out of Brooklyn, plays an evening show.
