Karen Arikian, the festival's executive director told Variety in a story published today that the dream is to extend HIFF to cover two weekends. She told the magazine that there is no decision yet, but that the 95 features and 56 shorts, plus awards, toasts, forums, labs, and so on were "enough programming to cover seven or eight days."
