County Legislator Jay Schniederman has invited his supporters to a campaign fund-raiser Saturday in Bridgehampton that he is billing an end-of-summer party and celebration of his 20 years of public service. The 4 to 7 p.m. gathering is at the Butter Lane house of Barbara and Richard Stone and includes cocktails, a raw bar, and a buffet. Tickets are $100 per person and can still be reserved at VoteJay@gmail.com.
Mr. Schneiderman lives in Montauk. He was appointed to the East Hampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals in 1991. He was East Hampton Town Supervisor for two terms and was elected to the County Legislature in 2003. He is running with the Independence Party's nomination against Cornelius Kelly of East Quogue on the Republican line.
