A Day for Bridgehampton

The second annual Bridgehampton Day celebration will take place on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m., offering food, music, and apparel and other vendors. All ages have been encouraged to attend, and there will be a kids area with a basketball tournament, a bouncy castle, and games.

For adults, a card-playing tournament, a voter registration table, and a barber area are in store. The day will also have a breast cancer awareness table and a service at the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton. The directors of the documentary “Killer Bees,” about the local high school’s storied basketball team, will be on hand for a meet-and-greet opportunity.

The purpose of Bridgehampton Day, held at the Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center on the Turnpike, is to bring together and inspire residents and celebrate the hamlet that so many people call home.

Admission is free. Those wishing to be a sponsor can get in touch with Willie Jenkins by calling 631-603-9972 or emailing mayhamn33@gmail.com.
