Greta Blackburn, a singer and actress who has a Wainscott house, will perform the “Tale of the Torch Song” at the East Hampton Library on Saturday at 2 p.m. Ms. Blackburn, who has appeared in film and on TV, will offer Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, and Sondheim classics along with some original works, including one based on the #MeToo movement. Refreshments from Hampton Coffee Company, La Capannina, and the Seafood Shop will be served.

On Sunday at 3 p.m., the library will be the setting for a staged reading called “Do No Harm” by Paul Vincent Moschetta, an author and therapist, with a group of community actors. The text concerns a young man trapped in a mental institution run by a madman. Registration by calling the library or visiting eventbrite.com has been recommended.
