The room you enter at World Pie has a glossy redwood bar with a curved banquette table in the window. The back room is often full, and it opens to the outdoors in summer. Even though World Pie is named for its 20 different and interesting pizzas, there is a big menu with about a dozen each of appetizers, salads, entrees, and pastas. Some recent items on the menu included flounder in parchment, a Cuban-style panino with roasted pork and ham, tandoori chicken, and lobster ravioli. The restaurant is popular with diners from every walk of life, prices are reasonable by Hamptons standards, and there usually is a young crowd as the evening wears on.
